A BIG thank-you! 💫

It’s hard to believe we’re already at the beginning of

February 2026 —the year is racing ahead!

Before it carries us further, we want to pause and extend our

heartfelt thanks to the many donors, corporates, and individuals

who gave so generously over the Christmas period. Your

kindness and support made it possible for our children to enjoy

a joyful, memorable festive season filled with fun and laughter.

Because of you, their holidays were brighter, their hearts lighter,

and their smiles wider.

The children had some fun Christmas activities during

the holiday, including creating gingerbread houses

and decorating Christmas cookies. They enjoyed the

creating as well as the eating!

January 2026 was the start of another busy schooling year for Hearts of Hope.

There are 25 children, aged from 14 months to 6 years old at our own ECD centre, Wendywood Development Centre.

There are 19 children in Grade R - Grade 3 at Wendywood Primary School.

And then 2 girls and 2 boys in Grade 1 and Grade 6 at Delta Park School.

The average cost of education per child

for 2026 is R33 932.

And this year there are 43 children who are at pre-primary or primary school.

A big thank-you to all who have donated towards the cost of education for the children. Thanks to these incredible supporters, 26 children are already sponsored.

Truly — thank you. You’ve given them safety, stability, and a school year they can count on.

That leaves 17 children still waiting for the same chance....
